Dear Friends,

The question I hear more than any other is, "Exactly what is CRISTA?" A number of people initially learn about us through a relationship with one of our nine ministries. When they hear the full CRISTA story, their reactions typically are, "I had no idea CRISTA does all that."

CRISTA is a unique family of ministries. Our employees love God by serving people through educating, evangelizing, developing leaders, reaching out to the poor and oppressed, training third-world peoples, and broadcasting encouragement and the good news of Jesus Christ. Behind the scenes, others perform tasks associated with accounting, donor relations, information technology, human resources, and marketing.

All of the ministries of CRISTA are united by one mission: “To love God by serving people.” We care sacrificially, strive to act with integrity and demonstrate long-term commitment; we endeavor to serve God through authentic relationships and by living out our spiritual callings.

Here at CRISTA, as did our founder Mike Martin, I sense that we walk on holy ground. We seek to affirm our history and guide our future by being a people of prayer. We have recently started the PrayerNetwork, which collects and distributes ministry-specific prayer requests.
